about the artist

My name is Samuel James and I am a multidisciplinary artist known by the creative alias, ihategreeneggs. I specialize in illustration, animation, painting, sculpture, and design. 

Gifted with an overactive imagination AS A CHILD, I took solace in drawing and the arts. this CREATIVITY also contributed to many fears, and I often was afraid to fall asleep because I would see so many images in my mind.

In my work today, I am influenced by these concepts AND MEMORIES from MY childhood. Through my ILLUSTRATIONS, I aim to visually convey the worlds I created as a child, merged with the reality of my life today.
